The Safe and Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening therapy that uses specially filtered music to regulate the nervous system and promote a sense of safety and calm. Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges based on his Polyvagal Theory, the SSP aims to help individuals better manage their emotional and physiological responses, particularly in situations where they may be feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed.
